Main page for reporting/analysis of On-Demand license usage within the Altium Dashboard.
The Reports page is part of the Altium Dashboard. This page provides a range of license usage monitoring and reporting features for On-Demand licensing. These reports can be used to audit how your licenses are used within your organization. This is useful for ensuring that the best use is being made of the available license seats, for anticipating future license requirements, and to determine the usage of individual users.
Reporting is available irrespective of version of Altium Designer being used.
Supported Reports
The following types of report are available:
Real-Time Usage
Usage History
Usage Log
Time Log
Switch between these report types using the drop-down field at the top of the page (hover over the name of the reporting type currently being used).

Real-Time Usage
As it's name suggests, this type of report provides a detailed summary of how the On-Demand licenses - associated to your Altium account - are currently being used within your organization. By default, all On-Demand licenses that are actually being used will be listed. Use the filtering field (whose non-filtered text displays as Licenses Search) to narrow the report to specific licenses as required. Filtering can be by license (product) name, or by activation code - click Apply to effect your defined filtering.
Filtering persists for your active AltiumLive session - when you sign out and back in again, all filtering will revert back to default settings.

Expanding a license entry will show statistics for Users of that license.

As an administrator for your account, you can force release any seat of a license, that is currently being used. To do so, simply locate the user of the applicable license, and click the control, to the right. A confirmation dialog will appear - click OK to proceed with the release.
Usage History
This type of report provides a detailed history of how the On-Demand licenses - associated to your Altium account - have been used within your organization. By default, the report lists usage for the previous month, across all used On-Demand licenses, groups and users. Use the associated reporting filters at the top of the page to tailor the results to:
A specific Time Interval - either the previous month, previous quarter, previous year, or a customized reporting interval of your choosing.
Include specific licenses and/or groups and/or users, as required - in effect filtering results by these settings.
Group the results by a specific time frame (Year, Quarter, Month, Week, or Day) and optionally one or more other fields (Product Name, Activation Code, User, Group). For example, you might want to see license usage over a particular timeframe, and group that by your defined groups - so selecting Group in the And drop-down field. Extending this further, you could group by Group and Product Name, to get a history of usage of every product for every group.
Don't forget to click the Apply button to effect your defined changes.

Usage Log
This type of report provides a detailed usage log for the On-Demand licenses associated to your Altium account, in terms of:
By whom the license was used (and in which group they were assigned that license).
What version of the software they were using.
When they started using the license.
When they released the license (back into the pool for use by others on the account).
By default, the log reflects usage for the previous month, across all used On-Demand licenses, groups and users. Use the associated reporting filters at the top of the page to tailor the results to:
A specific Time Interval - either the previous month, previous quarter, previous year, or a customized reporting interval of your choosing.
Include specific licenses and/or groups and/or users, as required.
Don't forget to click the Apply button to effect your defined changes.

Time Log
This type of report provides a detailed time log for the On-Demand licenses associated to your Altium account, in terms of:
By whom a seat of a specific license was used (and in which group they were assigned that license).
The time they took the license seat (Action = IN).
The time they released the license seat back into the pool for use by others on the account (Action = OUT).
By default, the log reflects timing events for the previous month, across all used On-Demand licenses, groups and users. Use the associated reporting filters at the top of the page to tailor the results to:
A specific Time Interval - either the previous month, previous quarter, previous year, or a customized reporting interval of your choosing.
Include specific licenses and/or groups and/or users, as required.
Don't forget to click the Apply button to effect your defined changes.

Exporting a Report in CSV Format
The Reports page also offers the option to export the current report to disk in CSV format - compatible with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications - for administration and accounting purposes. Select the desired report results using the appropriate report type and filtering for your needs, then click the CSV button. A zip file with the generated report will be downloaded to the default download location defined for your Browser.
