Student License

This article has information that will be helpful for students that want to start using Altium Designer.

Solution Details

Students can apply for a free student license via the student program.  This is a fully functional license to use our current version, that is renewable every 6 months.  Your e-mail must be associated with your university domain.  (For example .edu or .ch)  Here's the link to get started:

It might take a day or two to get a response after you fill out the form on the website. Your school's domain may not be approved by our automated system (if it doesn't end in .edu for example.) If this is your case, or if you still haven't received any communication, contact us describing your issue here:
